I’ve noticed I don’t have a lot of pasta recipes on my blog and I have to fix that. So Today’s recipe is for creamy Tagliatelle pasta with bacon and mushrooms.

Tagliatelle pasta with bacon and mushrooms

Ingredients
  • 3.5 oz (100gr) dried Tagliatelle pasta (you can use other pasta)
  • 5 oz (140gr) Sliced streaky bacon
  • 2 oz (60gr) Sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 tsp pesto
  • 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp shopped green onion
Instructions
  1. Cook pasta according to instructions on the package
  2. Set frying pan over median heat and add sliced bacon. Cook for 5 minutes and add sliced mushrooms and a pinch of salt. Cook for another 3 minutes and add sauce and about 1/4 tsp ground black pepper. Stir well and if sauce appears too thick add some water. (Use pasta cooking water).
  3. Strain pasta and stir into sauce.
  4. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese and green onion.
