I rarely cook broccoli and my family doesn’t love this vegetable. Surprisingly they can only eat it in this cold broccoli low-carb salad.

My son makes weird faces when I serve cooked broccoli, but he does like them crunchy fresh, covered in a creamy dressing and bacon.

This salad is easy to make and you can add or omit ingredients, depending on your personal preference.

What ingredients do I need to make this Keto Broccoli Salad Recipe?

  • broccoli
  • red onion
  • bacon
  • dried cherries (OPTIONAL, YES I KNOW THEY CONTAIN A LOT OF CARBS, BUT I CUT THEM INTO SMALL PIECES AND USE VERY LITTLE OF THEM)
  • sunflower seeds or nuts (Keto friendly nuts)
  • mayo
  • yogurt
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • low-carb sweetener
  • lemon juice (optional)

What can you add to this Keto Broccoli Salad?

You can add additional ingredients to this low-carb fresh broccoli salad.

Here are some options:

  • nuts like almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts
  • dried berries (keep in mind that these contain carbs and sugar)
  • grated or cubed cheddar cheese

How to make Keto Broccoli salad?

Cut broccoli into small, bite-sized pieces.

Rinse under cold water and drain.

Place in a bowl. Add the bacon, onion, dried fruit, sunflower seeds (or nuts if yip are using any).

In a bowl, combine the mayo, sweetener, salt, pepper, lemon juice and yogurt. Whisk to incorporate.

Pour dressing over the broccoli, stir to evenly cover in dressing. Serve or refrigerate and serve the next day.

Not a fan of sweet broccoli salad dressing? You can leave the sweetener out.

  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup dried cherries, OPTIONAL, YES I KNOW THEY CONTAIN A LOT OF CARBS, BUT I CUT THEM INTO SMALL PIECES AND USE VERY LITTLE OF THEM
