Salad With Grapes And Cheese – simple to make, with the perfect  balance of sweet and savory, this salad is fresh and delicious. Can be made year round, but it is just great for spring and summer. A combination of mixed greens, cheddar and blue cheese, grapes (can use red and green), caramelized walnuts and sweet honey balsamic vinaigrette.

This grape and cheese salad recipe could be customized to your taste. Use a dressing of your choice, swap romaine lettuce for mixed greens, add hazelnuts/almonds, instead of walnuts or add dried fruit.

Ready in under 10 minutes, this salad is perfect for a starter, side dish or a light lunch. Pair with white wine like Pinot Grigio, Rose or even champagne as a part of an evening meal.

This is not your typical creamy chicken salad with grapes added. Here we have a combination of crisp lettuce, creamy cheese, sweet grapes and crunchy nuts with a flavorful balsamic sweet dressing.

I tried this recipe in a popular restaurant in Europe and decided to come up with my own version.
