Everything goes directly into the blender, making this version ideal for busy days, last-minute gatherings, or when you want a consistent, restaurant-style dip.

BLENDER GUACAMOLE IN A WHITE BOWL

Why This Version Works

Even flavor distribution – Lime and aromatics blend evenly.

Ultra-smooth texture – Perfect for dipping or spreading.

Customizable heat – Easily adjust jalapeño level.

Consistent results – No chunky pockets of onion or garlic.

Fresh guacamole ingredients on a light surface including avocados, cilantro, cherry tomatoes, red onion, limes, and jalapeรฑos labeled for easy identification.

Make It Perfect (Blender Method Tips)

  • Adjust salt and extra lime at the end → Flavors brighten after blending.
  • Start with lime + aromatics first → This ensures they break down fully before adding avocado.
  • Use very ripe avocados → Soft avocados blend easily and prevent motor strain.
  • Pulse, don’t run continuously → Over-blending makes guacamole gummy.
  • Scrape as needed → Especially with standard European blenders.

Blender vs Food Processor (Texture Control)

A high-speed blender creates a silky, smooth guacamole.

If you prefer more texture:

  • Use a food processor.
  • Or mash avocados by hand and stir in finely chopped aromatics.

If your blender struggles:

  • Stop and scrape down sides.
  • Pulse instead of continuous blending.
  • Add 1–2 teaspoons extra lime juice (not water).

The issue is usually ripeness or technique – not the recipe.

Storage & Color Tips

Blending distributes lime juice evenly, which helps slow oxidation.

For best color:

  • Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface.
  • Store airtight.
  • Use within 24 hours.

FAQs

Why does blender guacamole stay green longer?

Blending helps distribute lime juice evenly, which slows down oxidation compared to unevenly mixed guacamole.

Can I make this without a blender?

Yes. Mash the avocados with a fork and finely chop the remaining ingredients, then mix everything together.

How spicy is this guacamole?

It’s mild with half a jalapeño. Add more or omit it completely depending on your preference.

Why won’t my guacamole blend?

This usually happens when:

the avocados aren’t ripe enough
the blender isn’t high-powered
everything sticks to the sides

Stop the blender, scrape down the sides, pulse again, and add a little more lime juice if needed.

Fresh And Easy Blender Guacamole

By Lyubomira from CookingLSL
This fresh and easy blender guacamole comes together in just 5 minutes. Smooth, creamy, and full of flavor, it’s perfect as a quick snack or a party-ready appetizer.
Prep: 10 minutes
Total: 10 minutes
Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • juice from 2 small limes
  • 1/2 small onion, , roughly chopped (red or yellow)
  • 1 clove garlic, , quartered
  • 1/2 jalapeño pepper, , chopped (or more according to taste, optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 medium ripe avocados, , peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves

Instructions

  • Add the lime juice, onion, garlic, jalapeño, and salt to the blender jar. Pulse 3–4 times until finely chopped.
  • Add the avocados and cilantro. Pulse 8–10 times, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed, until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • A high-speed blender works best for this recipe, but a regular blender or food processor can also be used.
  • If your blender struggles to blend, stop and scrape down the sides, then pulse again.
  • Avoid blending continuously — pulsing helps control texture and prevents over-processing.
  • If needed, add 1–2 teaspoons of lime juice to help the mixture move, but avoid adding water.
  • For a chunkier texture, use a food processor or mash the avocados by hand instead.
