Blueberry Slushie

Actually, the last couple of weeks have been that busy!

On August 9th we welcomed our sweet baby boy 5 days earlier than his due date.

My whole family couldn’t be happier and I’m so excited I’ve become a mom!

I’ll be sharing his birth story soon, but in the mean time I’ll enjoy the precious moments with this little guy and take it easy! And I have a delicious drink for you – Blueberry Peach Layered Slushie!

The posts over the next few weeks are scheduled, but feel free to let me know if you have any questions about the recipes or anything else. Will do my best to respond!

Now to the RECIPE!

Quick and easy fruity snacks are definitely something I love!

I really like the look of layered smoothies/slushies!

The thing is that I never had the patience to make one! I do need to use both jars of my blender and I always felt lazy to wash the second jar. But it was all worth it!

This Blueberry Peach Layered Slushie turned out beautiful and delicious!

I haven’t shared a peach recipe this summer…

The truth is that I bought peaches many times, but I never made any desserts with them. I had a busy summer and preferred to enjoy most fresh fruits on their own.

Having a baby means lots of quick and very easy meals/snacks. Now I make smoothies/slushies more than ever. They are usually on the not so fancy side, but I made this one especially for you!

You can serve it at a party, it will be a total hit! The only downside it that it can not be made in advance!

I used honey to sweeten all 3 layers. I also used sparkling water. You can definitely use sweet fruit juice of your choice and skip the honey and sparkling water.

It is still summer out there! Make sure you make some refreshing drinks like this one and enjoy them while the weather is still nice!
