Watermelon Mojito Recipe
Watermelon Mojito Recipe – a non-typical mojito flavor, which is perfect for the hot weather.
Another cocktail recipe? Sure, I would like to share with you this one, since it is watermelon season I couldn’t resist sharing this delicious cocktail recipe. This is also a great pitcher cocktail.
Again, I prefer making mojitos using simple syrup.
- 5-6 mint leaves
- 2-3 oz white rum
- 3 oz watermelon juice
- 2 oz simple syrup
- Juice from 1 lime
- soda water
- 1-2 limes cut into wedges and mint leaves for garnishing
- In a blender puree watermelon pieces , then strain through a fine mesh sieve to extract as much liquid as you can. (We need about 3 oz watermelon juice for a single cocktail).
- In a large glass combine mint, simple syrup and lime juice. With the back of a wooden spoon (or you can use a wooden rolling pin) muddle, but don't break mint leaves. Add ice. Pour in watermelon juice, rum and soda water. Stir to combine.
- Serve mojitos garnished with mint springs, lime wedges and a slice of watermelon.
