A great idea for a healthy snack or meal, this smoothie has less than 5 easy to find, main ingredients.

The fruits used contain vitamin C and fiber, it only takes around 5 minutes to make. Take this drink on the go or make it for breakfast or a snack.

What fruit pairs well with kiwi?

Kiwi is vitamin C and fiber rich fruit, usually the size of a large egg. It has a soft texture and smooth and unique flavor.

Kiwifruit airs well with apple, banana, berries, cherry, citrus, coconut, mango, and tropical fruit.

Kiwis are found in the markets all the year round, since each country produces in different periods.

How to make strawberry banana and kiwi smoothie?


The ingredient list is simple:

  • banana ( it could be fresh or frozen) – makes the smoothie extra thick and creamy
  • frozen strawberries
  • Kiwi – one large kiwi, peeled and cut into pieces
  • non-dairy milk – I used almond milk

Add ons:

You can add extra seeds or nut butters to the smoothie, if you’d like to:

A tablespoon of almond butter or peanut butter, will bring extra flavor and creaminess.

Adding hemp seeds, chia seeds, collagen powder or flax meal is optional.

Sweetener – I usually avoid adding extra sweeteners to my smoothies. I can have them less sweet and it is not a problem for me. But since kiwi and strawberries both provide some tanginess to the drink, you can add 1-2 teaspoons of honey or maple syrup. A date or a teaspoon of sugar will also work.

You will need a powerful blender or food processor for this smoothie, so it can blend the ingredients very well and turn them into a smooth and creamy drink.

Blend everything together until smooth. Serve immediately.

  • 1 banana cut into pieces
  • 6 large strawberries, frozen
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds (optional)
  • 1-2 tsp liquid sweetener


  • Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
