Honey Sriracha Chicken Quinoa Bowl – a very simple combination of sweet and spicy flavored chicken served over quinoa.

Hi guys!
Happy Wednesday!
Can you believe it is March already?
These last two months passed so quickly for me.
Today I’m sharing another protein packed quinoa bowl recipe, perfect for lunch or dinner.
Ready in just 30 minutes, this dish is easy to prepare and reheat.
I’ve had my eyes on this quinoa bowl recipe from one of my favorite bloggers – Marla, for a long time.
I recently decided to finally make it.
Turned out amazing, just what I was looking for.

Sriracha seems to be everywhere these days and I always have some in my pantry.
I use it as a ketchup substitute, in sauces and soups.
And since this dish combines my love for both quinoa and Sriracha, I’ll definitely be making it again!
The amount of Sriracha could be adjusted to your taste.
For some reason I’m a huge fan of the sweet and spicy combination in this sauce (honey-Sriracha), which I think will go awesome with some chicken wings.
If you like sweet and spicy, one bowl meals, this one might be just for you!

Full of protein, gluten free, this dish will definitely boost your energy and keep you full.

I have just started to discover these quinoa bowls recently. Thank you for a beautiful recipe, I will try it one of these days!
Thanks Marija! So glad you like it 🙂
Oh my goodness this looks so yummy! I’m always looking for more ways to work more quinoa into my diet and sriracha is just the best with… well… everything (except maybe desserts)! Can’t wait to try this out!
We made this last night for dinner, my 7 year old helped. It was super easy to make and was absolutely delicious! The entire family loved it.
I just made this amazing recipe for dinner – a beautiful blend of flavors and very easy to prepare! My 16-year old son’s friend asked if I’d give the recipe to his mom! That says a lot!
Glad you liked it Susan! Thanks for your honest opinion!!!
Looks like only Robee understands what leaving a review means 🙂
Great that looks and sounds good, and it does, but want to read “review” comments from those who actually made it!
Like Robee, I did make it! And it was a very good dish, one I’ll make many times. My only suggestion is to double up on the sauce which helped make its way into the quinoa! So if you like saucy, double up, if not leave as is!
Thanks Tom! Feel free to double up the sauce, I do not like not too saucy, that’s why the recipe is as it is. Will make a note for the people who like saucy dishes.
I made the sriracha chicken last night. It was SOOO good!! Thank you. : )
So glad you liked it!
I see chicken stock in parenthesis next to water for the quinoa instructions. Do you use water or chicken broth, or is the broth optional?
Thanks 🙂
Hi, I personally prefer water, but chicken stock is an optional substitute. Hope this helps.
I recently found I had a lot of food allergies and I have been looking for good recipes that are not boring and plain. I made this tonight, first time ever making chicken and something like this myself(I’m 17). This was so good! I forgot to salt the quinoa so definitely will next time. This was a great recipe and healthy, also first time using sriracha.
Glad you liked it! Have a nice weekend!
