Recipe Tips & FAQs
- How do I get extra crispy potatoes? Soak the cubed potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking. This helps remove excess starch, making them crispier.
- Should I peel the potatoes? Peeling gives a smoother texture, but leaving the skin on adds extra crispiness and nutrients. Just make sure you clean the skins well.
- What’s the best type of potato to use? Yellow or Yukon Gold potatoes are best for a creamy texture inside and crispy outside. You can also use Russet potatoes for an even crispier finish.
- How to cook them evenly? Cut the potatoes into uniform ½-inch cubes and toss them at least once, preferably halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
