Cherry Sundae Recipe Ice Cream In A Mason Jar – the perfect after school snack. Sweet, creamy and crunchy, very easy to make. Store it in the freezer, until ready to enjoy.
It is this time of the year – sad to say, it is the end of summer! This summer flew by too fast. But one good thing is that temperatures around here are still rising. We usually get some pretty hot days at the and of August and through most of September. This is awesome!
It is back to school time and some kids started school as early as last week.
Today I have an exciting Cherry Sundae Recipe – Ice Cream In A Mason Jar, perfect for ice cream lovers.
To make these sundaes in a jar, I used Blue Bunny® Cherrific Cheesecake ice cream, which has been a seasonal flavor, but now available year round (so thankful for this, since this has been my favorite flavor).
I got it from the ice cream section at my local Walmart store.
I also used crushed cookies (feel free to use cookies of your choice), fresh cherries, chopped almonds, toasted coconut and homemade chocolate sauce.
I had to make the chocolate sauce topping myself, since I forgot to get some, while at Walmart.
It is so easy to make, it only takes 5 minutes and it is a great topping for many desserts.
This Cherry Sundae makes the perfect snack on the go. Great for picnics. It is also the perfect after school sweet treat, most kids will love.
Make them happy, if they like ice cream.
