Ingredients

For the chocolate sauce: (makes about 2/3 to 1 cups)

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp milk

For the Cherry Sundaes:

  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds raw
  • 1/3 cup toasted coconut
  • 1/2 cup cookie crumbs (I used lady fingers crumbs)
  • 1/3 cup fresh cherries (4 reserved for topping, the rest pitted and chopped)
  • 2 cups Blue Bunny® Cherrific Cheesecake Ice Cream

Instructions

For the chocolate sauce:

  • Combine water, milk and sugar and bring to a boil. Add chocolate chips, remove from heat and whisk until the chocolate has melted completely. Let it cool. Store in the fridge and bring to room temperature, when ready to use again.

For the cherry sundaes:

  • Place 1 tbsp cookie crumbs on the bottom of each jar. Top with 2 scoops of ice cream (each jar). Add 1 tbsp chopped almonds and 1 tbsp toasted coconut (to each jar (optional). Add 2 cherries to each jar (pitted and chopped).
  • Add 1 tbsp cookie crumbs to each jar, then top this 1-2 scoop of ice cream to fill the jars. Top with fresh cherry, add coconut flakes and chocolate sauce (1-2 tbsp per jar).
  • Close lids and freeze or serve immediately.
