I’m so glad summer has almost arrived!
And this was a long waited one for me. While we’ve had some rain in the last few days, weather feels so much warmer and I can’t get enough of outside time. I love it!
I’ve found the perfect way to throw a summer party in your house, with just a little effort and some wonderful, inexpensive products.
On my recent trip to Walmart, I got JACK’S® Original Pepperoni Pizza and some OUTSHINE® Bars.
OUTSHINE® Bars are available in the ice cream section of your local Walmart and JACK’S® Original Pepperoni Pizza could be found in the frozen pizza section. It can also be found in American Flag Packaging (great for the holidays), which was not currently available in my local Walmart.
Both products are just perfect for a casual summer weekend gathering with your family and friends. Especially if you are short on time to prepare and cook a lot of food and also make a fancy dessert. Your guests will be pleased!
And I was pleasantly surprised to find out that JACK’S® Original Pepperoni Pizza could be cooked on the grill. For grilling instructions, please click here.
In the summer months we use our propane grill every day. It also works well for grilling pizza. Ot only took 15-20 minutes at 400F to cook the pizza and it was perfectly crispy.
Just slice and enjoy! It doesn’t get any easier.
And to finish off, I got a tasty and refreshing dessert/snack. Strawberry Simply Yogurt Outshine Bars. I get these bars all the time. They are one of my favorite store bought frozen snacks!
I love the Strawberry Simply Yogurt flavor. With 5 grams of protein and only 90 calories, they often are my preferred snack on a summer day. And more important – having a couple boxes in the freezer often saves my life, when I haven’t made a nice dessert for our weekend barbecue.
OUTSHINE® Bars are available in a lot of different flavors, some of which are: Blueberry Medley Fruit & Veggie Bars, Tangerine Medley Fruit & Veggie Bars, Peach Mango Medley Fruit & Veggie Bars and Strawberry Rhubarb Fruit & Veggie Bars.

I actually LOVE Jack’s pizza. It’s my favorite. It’s made in Wisconsin! They are hard to find in California (Walmart doesn’t carry them out here), so I have to go to Walgreens to find them (how random is that?) But they are the preferred frozen pizza in our house. We haven’t actually had any in a long tim, but your pictures look so good, we may have to track some down! And the Outshine bars sound like the perfect dessert!
Yeah, I didn’t know it was made in Wisconsin! But it tastes so good and it is easy to prepare, perfect! And Outshine bars are my favorite 🙂
Now this looks like a summer party, pizza and dessert al fresco. I love grilled pizza, it gives the dough a wood fired taste. Great post and I love the GIF. 🙂
