This refreshing honeydew and chia smoothie requires just 5 ingredients and 2 minutes to make.
Naturally sweet from the honeydew, loaded with protein and probiotics from the yogurt and antioxidants from the chia seeds, I can call this honeydew and chia smoothie healthy and delicious!
Keep in mind that this is just a smoothie drink, not a meal. It is refreshing, but this is the kind of smoothie, that does not substitute a meal. Perfect for a hot summer day, when you need to rehydrate, but don’t feel like drinking plain old iced tea or just water. You can also take it by the pool!
REFRESHING HONEYDEW AND CHIA SMOOTHIE
- 1 1/2 cups honeydew melon — , cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1 cup ice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 1/2 tsp chia seeds
In a blender, combine honeydew melon, yogurt, ice and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
Stir in chia seeds.
