Let me make a confession here – I can’t live without my morning coffee!
If I can have coffee just once a day, it needs to be in the morning. Even now, when I’m pregnant, I’ve been drinking a cup of coffee every morning (it is ok per my doctor). My coffee needs to be with a lot of cream!

We haven’t talked about morning routine for a while. To me, the way you start your day usually determines how your day is going to be. It is so easy to get caught up in the craze of today’s world and forget to slow down and enjoy the moment. I truly believe that taking some in the morning, to prepare for the day is essential to have a productive day and live a healthier life.
The following are just my thoughts and suggestions, so if you don’t agree with me, it is totally fine! I’ve also included a printable with my suggestions for a healthier morning routine, so you can print it if you’d like.
1.Waking up in a good mood is great, but it doesn’t always happen. Keep in mind that with some simple steps, you can at least try to make yourself feel better!
2.Ideally, I like to start my day early! The earlier the better, but this is just a personal choice. This way I can enjoy my breakfast and morning coffee. Brewed coffee or espresso with International Delight Simply Pure Coffee Creamers is the way to go!
3.Never skip breakfast. I prefer light, but still delicious nutritious breakfast like oat bran cereal or oatmeal, topped with fruit, hemp, flax or chia seeds. I heavier breakfast makes me want to take a nap!
4.Plan your day, if possible. I usually write down my most important tasks in advance, for example on Sunday, then check them again and add or remove stuff to the list. Set a most important task and finish it first!
5.Set realistic goals/tasks for the day. A list with more than 5-7 tasks seems like a lot to me these days.
6.Exercise, move, go for a short walk. Get your blood moving! Take the dog (if you have one) for a walk! If you prefer indoor exercise – do yoga or stretch for 5 minutes. Meditate if you believe in meditation. Put some makeup on, if this will make you feel beautiful!
7.Most important – love who you are, accept yourself as who you are, be happy! Remember, routines often don’t last forever, but it all depends on you!
