Grilled Chicken Skewers ON A WHITE PLATE WITH SALAD ON THE SIDE

Today’s recipe is for a low calorie, delicious, flavorful and full of protein meal – gilled chicken skewers.
I like chicken, although I don’t eat it very often, but when I do, this os one of my favorite ways to cook it – on a stick. I do prefer making small skewers, with just 4-5 small pieces of meat on each one. This way they look cuter and are also great for a party platter. I grill them on my Weber gas grill, but they can also be baked in the oven.
This recipe can be done with other kinds of meat like pork or beef.

I like mine with yogurt dipping sauce and fresh tomato-cucumber salad.

Here is what you need to make the yogurt sauce:
1 cup greek strained yogurt
1 clove garlic (finely chopped or pressed)
1 tsp lemon juice
pinch of salt
1 tsp chopped chives
Just mix all ingredients together and serve with your skewers.

  1. worked great in a convection oven.. Put the skewers over a glass dish to catch the drippings. 400F for half an hour, middle rack and they were just starting to turn brown.

Had great flavor and easy to work with.
