Homemade granola with berries in a cereal bowl

With the new year, it is time for some new breakfast ideas. I love granola, and while I haven’t been making it often lately, it can be a fantastic breakfast addition and very easy to make.

As you may know, you can enjoy granola in many different ways—make snacks with it or even yogurt parfaits.

The way I like to eat my simple homemade granola is with some Two Goodâ„¢ Greek lowfat yogurt and berries. I also add some chia seeds and nuts on top of my granola bowls.

You can purchase it at your local Target store. I got some Two Good yogurt in Vanilla, Blueberry and Peach flavors on my recent trip at Target. I enjoy shopping there because of the quality of the products they offer and cleanliness of the store. Are you excited to try it? Check out SpoonSomeGood.com for more information and ideas how to serve the product.

Two Good has two grams of total sugar, 12 grams of protein and 80 calories per 5.3 oz. serving. It delivers the deliciously thick and creamy taste you love, without a lot of that sugar you’re trying to avoid.

Why does this yogurt have less sugar?

Two Good has 85% less sugar than average yogurts because it’s made with a unique slow-straining process that removes sugar from the milk, leaving 2g of total sugar in each cup*. This process allows Two Good to remove most of the sugar from the milk that’s used to make yogurt. You can learn more on their website.

What ingredients do I need to make homemade granola?

  • Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • coconut oil
  • sweetener, such as honey or agave nectar, or if you like your granola extra sweet, use brown sugar or low-carb brown sugar substitute
  • salt
  • cinnamon (optional)
  • add-ons like dried fruit or nuts

You can get all these ingredients, fresh fruit and Two Goodâ„¢Greek lowfat yogurt at your local Target or grocery store.
