I got some fresh blackberries for a dessert recipe I was planning to try and thought making a blackberry cocktail was a great idea!

I know mojito is a Cuban drink, but I usually order them at my favorite Mexican restaurant and I thought this drink would be a great addition to the Mexican inspired recipes I shared this week.

Light, sweet, fruity and refreshing.

Let’s celebrate the weekend with a nice, minty and delicious drink.

Mojito With Simple Syrup

I know I’ve mentioned that before, but I really love making mojito with simple syrup. It balances the flavors of this drink very well.
