Cranberry orange smoothie – clean and light drink, perfect for the season!
I just can’t believe it is December! This means holidays, presents and delicious food!
Thanksgiving went by so fast but now other holidays are about to come. This means I need to get in shape before that, since I’ll be eating a lot of cookies and other holiday desserts!And there is nothing better that a light, delicious and nutritious smoothie!
I was recently given the opportunity to try the all new Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almondmilk Cashewmilk Blend. With only 25 calories per serving, my husband and I have been making smoothies with it every day. It also is lactose free, soy free, and calcium enriched. Sounds too good to be true? It is awesome! If you are a fan of non-dairy milk, you should definitely try it!
As you may have noticed, I’ve been in love with the cranberry orange combination. Now this combination was my inspiration for the smoothie. I used frozen cranberries and orange juice, milk, yogurt, almond butter and banana. It only takes 2 minutes to make it. So refreshing! I topped mine with some cranberries and an orange slice, so it looks good for the picture, this is totally optional.

- 2 bananas
- 1 cup frozen cranberries
- 1 cup Blue Diamond Almondmilk Cashewmilk Blend
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- Place all ingredients on a blender and blend until smooth. Serve.
