I just can’t believe it is December! This means holidays, presents and delicious food! Thanksgiving went by so fast but now other holidays are about to come. This means I need to get in shape before that, since I’ll be eating a lot of cookies and other holiday desserts!And there is nothing better that a light, delicious and nutritious cranberry orange smoothie.

I was recently given the opportunity to try the all new Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almondmilk Cashewmilk Blend. With only 25 calories per serving, my husband and I have been making smoothies with it every day. It also is lactose free, soy free, and calcium enriched. Sounds too good to be true? It is awesome! As you may have noticed, I’ve been in love with the cranberry orange combination. Now this combination was my inspiration for the smoothie. I used frozen cranberries and orange juice, milk, yogurt, almond butter and banana. It only takes 2 minutes to make it. So refreshing! I topped mine with some cranberries and an orange slice, so it looks good for the picture, this is totally optional.

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup Blue Diamond Almondmilk Cashewmilk Blend
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients on a blender and blend until smooth. Serve.
