pork steaks
bone in pork shoulder steaks, about 4 oz each
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper

chicken stock

Whole Grain Dijon Mustard
regular Dijon can be used

Instructions
Season both sides of the pork steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp oil.
Cook the pork steaks for 3-5 minutes per side, turning once.
Remove and transfer to a plate.
Add the apples and onions to the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour the chicken stock and add the mustard to the pan.
Season with thyme, rosemary, more salt and pepper.
Add the pork chops back to the pan.
Preheat your oven to 400 F.
Add the pork chops to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Take out of the oven and serve.
