Ingredients

  • 1 large mango any variety, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 small jalapeno chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilatrro
  • Juice from 1-2 limes
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Serve.

I've mentioned some popular types of mangoes in the blog post above. What is important, when making mango salsa is to choose ripe, but firm mangoes, so they stay firm when sliced and the salsa doesn't get mushy.
Let the salsa sit, before serving
Once prepared, let the salsa sit for 30-40 minutes at room temperature, so the mangoes can absorb all the flavors and acidity from the lime. 
Seasoning:
Don't forget to add salt to the salsa. Also be careful not to use too much lemon/lime juice, because this may ruin the flavor.
Serving
Preferably serve fresh or refrigerate for up to 1 day. This recipe doesn't freeze well.
