Blood Orange Smoothie Bowl Recipe - creamy, flavorful, nutritious and delicious. Thick smoothie in a bowl, packed with superfoods and topped with sliced blood oranges, bananas, hemp seeds and cocoa nibs.
Ingredients
For the blood orange smoothie bowl:
- 1 cup frozen banana — 2 small or 1 large banana
- 1 cup almond milk — or any non dairy milk
- 2 blood oranges — 2 small or 1 large
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp sweetener of your choice — agave, maple syrup, honey
Topping (optional):
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp coconut flakes
- 1 tsp chopped pistachios
- 1 tsp cacao nibs
- 1/2 banana — sliced
- 1/2 blood orange — sliced
Instructions
For the blood orange smoothie bowl:
