Cabbage Rolls
- 12 –15 Napa cabbage leaves
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 red onion finely diced
- 8 oz mushrooms finely chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 scallions thinly sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce or to taste
Cook filling
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sauté onion and mushrooms for 3–4 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked.
Make sauce
Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and chili sauce.
