Fall Sangria

Easy Fall Sangria Recipe - made with red wine, seasonal fruit, Orange liqueur and sweetener. Very quick and easy to make, sweet, fruity and refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 750 ml red wine
  • 1/4 cup Orange Liqueur
  • 1/4 cup liquid sweetener optional
  • 1 cup Pomegranate juice optional
  • 1/2 cup Pomegranate Seeds
  • 1 persimmon peeled and sliced
  • 1 apple - sliced
  • 1 orange sliced
  • sparkling water optional
  • ice for serving
  • mint/thyme for garnishing

Instructions

  • Place everything besides the sparkling water, ice and mint/thyme in a pitcher.
  • Stir and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. (You may serve the sangria right away, it for best results - chill, so the wine absorbs flavors from the fruit).
  • To serve - add 3-4 ice cubes to a glass. Fill the glass with sangria about 3/4.
  • Add some sparkling water. Garnish with mint or thyme.
