Tagliatelle Pasta With Mushrooms And Bacon

Ingredients

– 6 oz dried tagliatelle pasta – 6 slices bacon — chopped – 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms – 1 cup heavy cream – 1 1/3 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese — divided – 3 tbsp butter – 1/2 tsp salt or more to taste – 1/4 tsp black pepper – 1 tsp pesto – 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Step 1

Set pan over medium heat and add chopped bacon.

Step 2

Cook for 4-5 minutes, remove bacon, drain some of the fat. Add sliced mushrooms and a pinch of salt.

Step 3

Cook for another 3 minutes.

Step 4

 Add heavy cream, butter, 1 cup of parmesan cheese, garlic powder and 1/4 tsp ground black pepper.

Step 5

 Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 6

Cook pasta according to the directions on the package.

Step 7

 Combine the sauce, pasta and crispy bacon. Add pesto (optional).

Step 8

Serve topped with the rest of the Parmesan cheese.
