Air Fryer Portobello Mushrooms
Air Fryer Portobello Mushrooms - tasty Portobello mushrooms, cooked to perfection in an air fryer. Great for a side dish, as a part of vegetarian meal, use them in veggie burgers or pasta. Not stuffed or breaded. Just add a simple seasoning and cook for 10 minutes or less.
Servings: 6
- 6 medium Portobello mushrooms 1 to 1 1/2 lb
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Garlic or 1 clove, pressed
- 1/4 tsp Thyme optional
- Chopped parsley
Preheat air fryer to 350 F for 5 minutes.
Clean mushrooms with damp towel or wash with water and pat dry. Remove the stems. Scrape out the gills ( optional).
Melt butter, combine with olive oil and brush the mushrooms on both sides.
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides.
Cook 10 minutes, starting stem side up and turning the mushrooms halfway through.
Add some thyme before serving (optional).
Garnish with chopped parsley.
