Garlic Butter Mushrooms

Garlic Butter Mushrooms - buttery, flavorful and addictive mushrooms that can be enjoyed with different meals as a side dish or an appetizer.


  • 1 lb button Mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp Salt or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic — pressed
  • 1/4 cup chopped Shallot or onion
  • Parsley for garnishing
  • Fresh thyme for garnishing


  1. Melt butter in a pan. Add the shallot and garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  2. Add the mushrooms, cook for 5-7 minutes, until they release liquid and it has almost evaporated. Stir frequently.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with parsley and fresh thyme.
