Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb steak Sirloin works best, but you can also use Ribeye or even Fillet Mignon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or less
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter unsalted
  • additional seasoning of your choice optional

Instructions

  • Cut steak into bite-sized cubes.
  • Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a pan on the stove top over medium-high heat. The oil /butter mixture has to get hot.
  • Add the seasoned steak and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they get a nice crust.
  • Serve.
