  • 6 chicken legs — drumsticks, I used skinless
  • 1/3 cup Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tsp lemon zest — optional
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano — optional


  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Wash and pat dry chicken legs.
  3. In a small bowl combine all ingredients for the seasoning.
  4. Place chicken drumsticks in a bowl.
  5. Pour Mazola Corn Oil and lemon juice on top. Add seasoning and lemon zest (optional).
  6. Make sure chicken legs are evenly coated with the seasoning, oil and lemon juice.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes, until the internal temperature is 165 F.
