Cheesy Potatoes And Steak Flat Bread For Game Day - two easy to make appetizers, which are great for game day party. Topped with Pace® Picante Chunky Mild.

Ingredients

FOR THE STEAK FLATBREAD:

  • For the steak flatbread:
  • 2 store bought flatbreads
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 avocado , cut into small cubes
  • Pace® Picante Mild for topping
  • chopped green onions
  • lime slices
  • one 8-10 oz NY Steak
  • salt and pepper for seasoning , to taste
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

FOR THE CHEESY POTATOES:

  • 1 1/2 pound new small potatoes , quartered
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp butter , cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • green onions for topping
  • Pace® Picante Mild for topping

Instructions

FOR THE STEAK FLATBREAD:

  • To cook the steak: Season steak on both sides with seasonings (salt and pepper, paprika, cumin and garlic powder.
  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak on both sides for 30 seconds.
  • Transfer skillet to the oven and cook for 5 minutes per side for medium. Remove from the oven and cover with foil, let it stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before cutting.
  • Slice into thin pieces.
  • Lower oven temperature to 350F.
  • Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  • Top flatbreads with steak, add avocado, green onion and top with Pace® Picante Mild.

FOR THE CHEESY POTATOES:

  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • Butter/oil baking sheet. Line potatoes on the baking sheet. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder. Add butter on top. Bake for 25 minutes until cooked.
  • Top with cheese and bake for 5-7 more minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Top with Pace® Picante Mild and green onions. Serve.
