Recipe for reduced balsamic vinegar. Concentrated and thickened balsamic vinegar great for drizzling over salads, veggies or certain desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  • In a small deep pan pour balsamic vinegar. Cook over low to medium heat, until vinegar reduces by at least a half. It takes around 15 minutes for 1 cup to reduce to 1/2 cup.
  • When balsamic vinegar reduction reaches the desired consistency, remove from heat and let cool at room temperature.
  • Store in a jar, bottle or air tight container in the fridge.
