Salmon Cutlets (Salmon Steak) Recipe

- 2 salmon cutlets about 6-8 oz each
- Salt and Pepper to taste about 1/2 tsp of each
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- Optional seasoning: paprika garlic powder about 1/2 tsp of each
- Lemon wedges for serving
Place steaks on a plate and season with salt and pepper, (add the paprika and garlic powder, if using). Drizzle with oil.
Preheat a cast iron skillet on the stove top at medium-high heat.
Cook for 3 minutes per side, until golden on the outside. Cook for a minute or two longer, if the steaks are on the larger side).
Serve with lemon wedges and the pan sauces.
