Chocolate Oat Bran Dessert Pudding (Porridge)

Chocolate Oat Bran Pudding (Porridge) - creamy and delicious, packed with fiber, refined sugar and gluten free. Made with coconut or nut milk, oat bran, hemp hearts (optional) and dark chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1/2-1 cup coconut milk not from a can or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup oat bran
  • 1 tsp hemp hearts
  • 50 grams dark chocolate at least 70 % cocoa
  • Fresh berries for topping
  • Optional - sweetener of your choice since we are using dark chocolate, this dessert is not too sweet. You can add agave nectar, maple syrup. Sugar, low carb sweetener or honey

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, over medium-high heat combine the milk and oat bran.Stir frequently, let them cook for 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off and add the chocolate. Stir to combine. Add in the hemp hearts and stir to incorporate. Add sweetener (optional).
  • Divide between 2 bowls, then top with berries.
  • Serve immediately.
