Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs about 3 oz each
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • Paprika can use 1/2 tsp regular and 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 tsp soy sauce optional
  • 2 tbsp grape seed or vegetable oil divided
  • Lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Trim the chicken thighs from any extra fat.
  • Season with 1 tablespoon of oil, soy sauce, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat on the stove top. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 F.
  • Drizzle with some lemon juice (optional) and serve.
