  • 2 lb large shrimp — I used jumbo shrimp
  • 2 tbsp high heat oil — avocado, grape seed
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt — or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper — or more to taste


  1. Preheat oven to broil (500 F/260 C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  3. Line shrine on the baking sheet, leaving at least an inch between them.
  4. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Drizzle with oil.
  6. Broil for 2 minutes on one side. Take out of the oven and turn the shrimp around.
  7. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then serve.
