- 1 1/2 lb steak Sirloin works best, but you can also use Ribeye or even Fillet Mignon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder or less
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter unsalted
- additional seasoning of your choice optional
Cut steak into bite-sized cubes.
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan on the stove top over medium-high heat. The oil /butter mixture has to get hot.
Add the seasoned steak and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they get a nice crust.
Serve.
