Ingredients

FOR THE STEAK FLATBREAD:

  • For the steak flatbread:
  • 2 store bought flatbreads
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 avocado — , cut into small cubes
  • Pace® Picante Mild for topping
  • chopped green onions
  • lime slices
  • one 8-10 oz NY Steak
  • salt and pepper for seasoning — , to taste
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

FOR THE CHEESY POTATOES:

  • 1 1/2 pound new small potatoes — , quartered
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp butter — , cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • green onions for topping
  • Pace® Picante Mild for topping

Instructions

FOR THE STEAK FLATBREAD:

  1. To cook the steak: Season steak on both sides with seasonings (salt and pepper, paprika, cumin and garlic powder.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  3. Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak on both sides for 30 seconds.
  4. Transfer skillet to the oven and cook for 5 minutes per side for medium. Remove from the oven and cover with foil, let it stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before cutting.
  5. Slice into thin pieces.
  6. Lower oven temperature to 350F.
  7. Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  8. Top flatbreads with steak, add avocado, green onion and top with Pace® Picante Mild.

FOR THE CHEESY POTATOES:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Butter/oil baking sheet. Line potatoes on the baking sheet. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder. Add butter on top. Bake for 25 minutes until cooked.
  3. Top with cheese and bake for 5-7 more minutes until cheese is melted.
  4. Top with Pace® Picante Mild and green onions. Serve.
