RAW PRUNE AND MACA TRUFFLES RECIPE

Raw Prune And Maca Truffles Recipe - naturally sweetened with prunes and maple syrup, these truffles are packed with nutritious ingredients, simple to make and lightened up.

Ingredients

FOR THE TRUFFLES:

  • 1 cup prunes , pitted (you can soak them in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain, I did not soak them, because they were moist)
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp maca powder

OTHER:

  • cocoa powder , shredded coconut, matcha powder and crushed freeze dried strawberries

Instructions

  • In a food processor, place prunes and pulse until 5-6 times. Remove from the food processor. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Add walnuts and almonds to the food processor and pulse until meal is formed. Transfer to the bowl with prunes.
  • Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil and macarons powder. Stir to incorporate.
  • Using a tablespoon, scoop out equal amounts from the mixture and shape balls.
  • Roll into matcha powder, cocoa powder, shredded coconut and crushed freeze dried strawberries, if you'd like, or leave plain.
  • Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
