Stove Top  Chicken Thighs




– 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs — about 3 oz each – 1/2 tsp Salt – 1/4 tsp Black pepper – Paprika — can use 1/2 tsp regular and 1/2 tsp smoked paprika – 1/4 tsp ground cumin – 1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1 minced garlic clove – 1 tsp soy sauce — optional – 2 tbsp grape seed or vegetable oil — divided – Lemon juice — optional

Step 1

Trim the chicken thighs from any extra fat.

Step 2

Season with 1 tablespoon of oil, soy sauce, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper.

Step 3

 Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat on the stove top. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 F.

Step 4

Drizzle with some lemon juice (optional) and serve.
