– 1 1/2 lb steak — Sirloin works best, but you can also use Ribeye or even Fillet Mignon – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/4 tsp black pepper – 1/2 tsp garlic powder — or less – 1 tbsp olive oil – 2 tbsp butter — unsalted – additional seasoning of your choice — optional

Step 1

Cut steak into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Step 2

Heat olive oil and butter in a pan on the stove top over medium-high heat. The oil /butter mixture has to get hot.

Step 3

Add the seasoned steak and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they get a nice crust. Serve.
