Salmon Steak Recipe (Cutlets) – a healthy and easy to make salmon steak meal, made in 10 minutes on the stove top. Nothing complicated, just basic ingredients and techniques.

Salmon Steak




– 2 salmon cutlets — about 6-8 oz each – Salt and Pepper to taste — about 1/2 tsp of each – 2 tbsp avocado oil – Optional seasoning: paprika — garlic powder about 1/2 tsp of each – Lemon wedges for serving

Step 1

Place steaks on a plate and season with salt and pepper, (add the paprika and garlic powder, if using). Drizzle with oil.

Step 2

Preheat a cast iron skillet on the stove top at medium-high heat.

Step 3

Cook for 3 minutes per side, until golden on the outside. Cook for a minute or two longer, if the steaks are on the larger side).

Step 4

Serve with lemon wedges and the pan sauces.
