– 8 cups baby spinach — washed – 4 tbsp butter – 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 garlic cloves — pressed – 4 oz cream cheese – 1/2 cup heavy cream – 1 tsp salt – 1/4 tsp black pepper

Step 1

If using fresh spinach, blanch it and squeeze out as much water as possible. Chop spinach into small pieces.

Step 2

In a saucepan, melt the butter, then add salt, pepper and garlic. Add the heavy cream and cream cheese. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until well blended and warmed up.

Step 3

Add spinach to the creamy mix. Cook for 2-3 more minutes. Season with more salt if needed. Top with cheese (optional).
