Ingredients

– 2 pounds jumbo shrimp – 1 tbsp smoked paprika – 1 tsp dried oregano – 1 tsp ground cumin – 1/2 tsp black pepper – 1 tsp salt – 1 tsp garlic powder – 1 tsp onion powder – 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper — or more to taste For the garlic butter: – 6 tbsp melted butter – 2 cloves garlic — pressed – 1/8 tsp salt — optional

Step 1

Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat (400-450 F).Soak 8 wooden skewers in cold water (or use metal skewers).

Step 2

Combine all ingredients for the seasoning in a small bowl.Wash and pat dry shrimp. Season with seasoning.

Step 3

Skewer shrimp onto skewers. Place on the grill. Cook for 2 minutes per side, until fully cooked.Brush with garlic butter.

Step 4

For the garlic butter:  Melt butter and add pressed garlic and salt (optional).
