Easy Grilled Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

– 2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs – 1/4 cup olive oil – 2 tbsp brown sugar or low-carb brown sweetener – 3 tbsp soy sauce — low sodium – 2 tbsp lemon juice – 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger – 2 garlic cloves — minced or pressed – 1 tsp paprika or smoked paprika – 1/2 tsp dried oregano – 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper or a splash of your favorite hot sauce – 1 tsp Dijon mustard – 1/4 tsp black pepper

Step 1

Clean chicken from any extra skin and fat that may have left.

Step 2

 In a bowl combine all ingredients for the marinade.

Step 3

Add chicken and cover. Marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature or for up to 6 hours in the fridge. If refrigerating, take out 30 minutes before grilling.

Step 4

Preheat a gas grill to medium-high (450 F).

Step 5

 Clean the grates.

Step 6

 Place chicken on the grill and grill for 5-6 minutes per side, turning once, until the internal temperature is 165 You can grill to slightly higher temperature 170-175F.
