Ingredients

wooden skewers chicken breast soy sauce yellow curry powder turmeric chili powder garlic powder grated ginger brown sugar or maple syrup vegetable or olive oil salt black pepper onion powder lemongrass Peanut sauce: peanut butter soy sauce lemon or lime juice sesame oil water garlic powder grated ginger chili or Sriracha brown sugar, honey or agave nectar Topping - sesame seeds For serving: Fresh cilantro — hot red pepper flakes, sesame seeds and peanuts for garnishing (optional).

Step 1

Soak the wooden skewers.

Step 2

Cut chicken into bite sized pieces or into thin tenders.

Step 3

 In a bowl combine all ingredients for the marinade. Add the chicken, stir to coat the meat into the marinade.

Step 4

Marinate for 6 hours or overnight.

Step 5

Thread chicken onto the wooden skewers.

Step 6

Grill the skewers for 3 minutes per side, until fully cooked and charred.

Step 7

Peanut sauce: Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Serve with the chicken.
