I’m obsessed with these stuffed cherry peppers. They are so good!

Stuffed Hot Mini Cherry Peppers From Trader Joe's Appetizer. Great for antipasto platter or a cocktail appetizer.

I’ve been looking for these every time I go to different grocery stores. They are rare to find, at least in my area. I keep checking out the olive / antipasto bars and prepackaged trays and no success.

Family Favorite, People pleaser, What to stuff sweet Cherry Peppers Cocktail and Party Appetizer With?

Costco carries an antipasto tray, that has some stuffed cherry peppers inside. But it is huge, and the container with peppers has just like 6-7 of these. Definitely not enough for my family. And that tray is only available around the winter holidays, from what I’ve noticed. These stuffed cherry peppers are good for an year round appetizer, just like my famous Easy Marinated Mushrooms.

Party Toothpick Appetizer - Stuffed Cherry Peppers. Ready in 5 minutes, cheaper than store bought hot cherry peppers.

You can make them in advance and store in the fridge for up to one week.

Cute looking,  they make the perfect party bite sized appetizer.

And the best part? They are ready in under 10 minutes.

Feta Garlic and Cream Cheese Spread Stuffed Cherry Peppers In A Jar, great for a party appetizer.

Where do you find cherry peppers?

I’m sure, some other stores may have these, but I got mine at Trader Joe’s. They are called “Hot Cherry Peppers”, packaged in a jar. They are good on their own, but the addition of whipped feta inside makes them ten times more delicious.

What do you stuff the cherry peppers with?

The answer is – whipped feta. You may already have the ingredients for it in your fridge.

I adapted the recipe for whipped feta from my Mini peppers with whipped feta, which are also a cool and delicious summer party appetizer. I just used less feta and more cream cheese, because I wanted the filling to stay inside the cherry peppers and be extra creamy.

The truth is that I don’t wow what the similar peppers in the store are stuffed with, but I like how the ones I made turned out. I’m not a huge fan of creamy goat cheese, this is why I prefer to use feta.

It is that simple! Go and get a jar of hot cherry peppers, make some whipped feta and there you have a super cute mini party appetizer.

Hope you get to try them.

  5. Can you, please, tell is how to get the seeds out of the peppers without destroying them? That’s the hardest part of the recipe.

    1. Hi,
I got the peppers from a jar, the seeds were removed. But, you can sue a small spoon or a melon baller (better) to try and carefully scoop them out.
