What seasoning to use on steak bites?

I only like to use salt and pepper to season the mean and then garlic powder (fresh garlic could be used as well) to add some garlicky flavor. This is the safest seasoning for picky eaters.

Of course this is the simplest way to season beef, but you have the option to add other seasoning of your choice, if you’d like.

You can use any steak seasoning of your choice, like Weber Grill or McCormick. We’ve had these same steak bites at a restaurant, seasoned with chipotle seasoning and they tasted amazing!

Thyme, cayenne pepper, paprika, onion powder or crushed red pepper will be great to add to these steak bites.

Then the cooked steak bites could be served with any hot sauce of your choice, chipotle mayo or aioli.

What is the best meat to use for Steak Bites?

Sirloin is an  inexpensive cut of meat, that works great for this recipe.

I’ve also made these steak bites using Fillet Mignon (who does this???), Ribeye (trim the fat) of Flatiron Steak (not my favorite).

    1. Hi Brianne, if you use sirloin steak, you know it is not tender it is chewy. The steak is not marinated, just seasoned and cooked, so I won’t suggest is at this time for your husband, because it is a little chewy.
