Looking for a cold and refreshing fruity snack? You’ve come to the right place. These Pineapple Strawberry Cantaloupe Popsicles have three different layers of fruit and no extra sweetener.

I was almost going to call them “ombre” popsicles, but I’m not sure how many people associate ombre with food. It is a hair trend, isn’t it? Or shall I call them layered popsicles?

You won’t believe how easy to make these Pineapple Strawberry Cantaloupe Popsicles are. All you need to do is blend the fruit, soak some wooden popsicle sticks in cold water for 15 minutes and layer the fruit inside popsicle molds. I use these popsicle molds I got on Amazon (affiliate), but any popsicle molds should work.

What ingredients do you need to make these sugar-free Strawberry Cantaloupe Popsicles?

  • pineapple chunks
  • strawberries
  • cantaloupe chunks
  • sweetener – optional

How to make these Pineapple Strawberry Cantaloupe Popsicles?

  1. Soak 8 wooden popsicle sticks in cold water for 15 minutes.
  2. Pueree strawberries in a blender.
  3. Blend cantaloupe in a blender.
  4. Pueree pineapple in a blender.
  5. Add sweetener, if necessary.
  6. Fill each mold with pureed strawberries, 1/3 full. Add cantaloupe, fill to about 2/3 full. Add pureed pineapple on top. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours.
  7. To remove popsicles from the mold, run under hot water for 15 seconds, then try to pull them out. If they are not coming out, place under hot running water again for 10 more seconds and try to take them out.

Layered Fruit Popsicles:

So I was wondering how I was going to layer the fruit inside the molds for these Pineapple Strawberry Cantaloupe Popsicles. I thought I have to pour the first (top) layer, which is strawberry in this case, then freeze it, then add the second layer, (cantaloupe), insert the popsicle sticks, freeze again and then add the this layer (pineapple). But this seemed like too much work, so I just carefully poured the mixture for each layer inside the molds, inserted the sticks and froze the pops.

The colors in these are so festive and perfect for a party. You can place each popsicle in an individual wrap and hand them to guests, when it is time for snack/dessert. Just make sure you keep them frozen all the time.

No artificial colors or flavors or even sweetener.

Sugar-Free Strawberry Cantaloupe Ice Pops

I did not use a sweetener, because the fresh cantaloupe and pineapple were pretty sweet. The strawberries I had weren’t as sweet as I wanted them, but I did not use any sweetener in them. Feel free to add honey or agave nectar (to taste), if the fruits you have do not appear sweet enough.
