Easy to make and very elegant, this Grapefruit Prosecco Cocktail is a favorite of mine.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner. And what inspired me to make this recipe is the fact that my mom loves wine. Wine is the only alcohol she drinks and making a simple cocktail is just the best way to enjoy it. This is a great cocktail for Mother’s Day Brunch.

Until recently, I was not into sparkling wine. I would think that it is expensive and too dry and sweet. I’ve worked at a restaurant and attended numerous wine tasting events and I never realized my love for sparkling wines.

But this past New Year’s Eve, after trying a glass of prosecco, I realized that I actually enjoyed the taste and sparkle. It is light and refreshing. Perfect for a romantic night or entertaining.

I’m extremely happy I was able to try VOVETI prosecco and make some cocktails with it. I’m impressed by its quality.

VOVETI is the chic, modern Italian prosecco that embodies affordable luxury and classic style.

VOVETI is a high quality, craft prosecco; only 15,000 cases are produced annually.

VOVETI is a collaborative effort between the Collavini family and the Ferrer family; each family brings 4 generations of sparkling wine expertise to the table.

I paired the delicate sweetness of  VOVETI prosecco with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and added some extra flavor with a spring of thyme in each glass. Such a cool drink, ready in a minute.

I personally have numerous reasons to entertain during Spring and Summer. Holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, baby or bridal showers. Simple and festive drinks like this are the way to impress everyone around you and make them feel special.

This prosecco is definitely a winner! Go and pick up a bottle for your next party or event.
