Apple cider should not be boring – mix up your cider to create a fun and refreshing nonalcoholic drink like this Cider-Pomegranate Refresher.apple-cider-pomegranate-sparkler-nonalcoholic

Remember this Pomegranate Mojito Cocktail from last winter? It is still one of my favorite mojitos. And I’ve tried a lot of different flavors! Today’s cider-pomegranate refresher is a nonalcoholic drink, but you can definitely booze it up by adding vodka or rum.

This Cider-Pomegranate refresher is made with just 3 ingredients – homemade apple cider, lime and pomegranate juice. It looks festive and it is perfectly spiced and refreshing.

Loaded with antioxidants it makes a great drink for a fall or winter party. Great for the holidays!

A few weeks back I went to the doctor to get some blood work done.

While there we were talking about food and recipes (my doctor knows I’m a food blogger) and he asked if I used any pomegranate in the recipes for my blog. We also talked about the benefits of the fruit. I old him that I’ve got a few recipes with pomegranate. And this reminded me that it is pomegranate time again ! (fall/winter)

Fresh pomegranates are available in the stores in the US from September to January and I’m taking full advantage of this fact.

After I was done there, I immediately went to the store and got some pomegranates and started snacking on the seeds. I also used them in salads. And that’s how the idea of this refresher came up. I needed a nonalcoholic drink I can enjoy during the day, while cooking and taking pictures.

Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants and are symbol of health.

I hope you het to try this drink!
