Cheesy Skillet Bread Rolls With Kaukauna® Cheese – simple recipe, prefect for your holiday party.

Cheesy Skillet Bread Rolls

Holidays are just around the corner and I’m extremely excited to share with you a quick and easy way to prepare an appetizer, great for entertaining.

I’m a huge lover of cheese and good quality cheese needs to be present on my party menu.

On my recent trip to my local Jewel Osco store, I spotted Kaukauna® Cheese logs, balls and cups. I usually get these for party platters on celebrations, birthdays, holiday gatherings of just wine and cheese evenings at home.

Their cheese comes in cups, logs, and balls.

I got the Kaukauna® Cheese Logs in Double Sharp Cheddar and Port Wine. Both flavors taste amazing! They are made with 100% real cheddar.

Kaukauna® is delicious by itself or part of a recipe. Instead of serving the cheese with traditional crackers, which is totally fine and delicious, I decided to bake some homemade bread rolls in a skillet.

These Skillet Bread Rolls paired well with Kaukauna® Cheese Logs in Double Sharp Cheddar and Port Wine. The taste is perfect, especially, if you serve the rolls warm. Add some nuts and seasonal fruit to it and you have the perfect holiday appetizer.

  1. These rolls are calling my name, Mira! I love making rolls in a skillet! I’m going to have to find that cheese, sounds so good and I love the variety! These sound like they would be the star of the holiday dinner table. Pinned!

  2. Mira – your rolls look fantastic! I’ve never made rolls in a skillet – my daughter would finish these off in seconds! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

  3. This looks delicious, I love bread. I want to have a try for breakfast. But since it takes such a long time, I have to prepare it in advance. Then I can cook it within 30 minutes. What do you think?

    1. You can use rapid rise yeast and rising time will be shorter. If you prepare in advance, and bake a lot later, they may taste not too good.
